The Bible Lands Museum Jerusalem launches a new weekend activity for families this winter, including free entrance for children!

Looking to escape the rain and cold this winter? The BLMJ launches a new and enriching activity for the whole family, Saturdays, starting November 24th, 2012, throughout the winter season.
Embark on a self-guided Treasure Hunt that will take you on an adventure through the Museum's exhibitions, ending in the Family Activity Room and surprises for every family! The program is completely appropriate for the Shabbat observant when purchasing tickets in advance.

Journey through the pages of history and solve codes and riddles as you travel through ancient cultures in search of hidden treasure. (ages 6-12)
The Treasure Hunt includes special prizes for the participants and for families with children ages 3-6, a special voyage through time, filled with fun, learning and stickers awaits you.
In the Family Activity Room you'll find a quiet reading corner, fun board games and lots of costumes (for children) to dress up as your favorite biblical character and enjoy quality family time.
The BLMJ Core Exhibition, as well as the special exhibition, Glories of Ancient Greece, PURE GOLD, and The Classical Court will also be open for visitors.

On Saturdays 1.12.2012 – 23.3.2013, free entrance for children, adults: 40 NIS.
Museum hours and activity on Saturdays: 10:00 – 14:00.
