This seal is the reverse side of Jean de Brienne seal, King of Jerusalem 1201-1225 C.E. The inscription reads: "CIVITHS REGIS REGVM OMNIVO " City of the King of Kings. The city of Jerusalem is represented by a wall with a gate. Above the wall are three principal monuments of medieval Jerusalem: the one on the right represents the Holy Sepulchre with its open dome, the one on the left the Temple (i.e. Dome of the Rock) surmounted by the cross erected by the Crusaders and removed by Salah-ed-din in 1187 and in the center is the Tower of David.
The diameter of the seal is 8cm.
It is possible to purchase a stand, for the paper weight, which can then be inscribed.
