The cookbook  offers a compilation of innovative recepies with honey, as well as some old favorites.  Honey as it is produced and marketed today, refers to bee honey.  In ancient times however,honey was made mainly from fruits.  Most of the recepies in this book use  bee honey. There are some that recommend using date honey, that has a distinctive flavor, or honey from other sources.
